The jewel in the crown in The Group, Greentrees Caravanstore started as Greentree Motors, back in 1968 by company founder Keith Greentree.
It quickly became apparent that used car selling did not fit the ethical standards Keith aspired to and as a consequence, in 1971 Greentree Caravans was born. The business quickly grew and in the 70’s became one of the leading caravan retailers in East Anglia.
In 1986 Keith’s son Neil joined the company as a workshop apprentice and took it upon himself to learn the trade. Nine years later, in 1995, Neil eventually took responsibility for the overall day-to-day management of Greentree Caravans, allowing Keith to semi-retire and pursue new interests.
In 2001 the business moved to a new and its present 2.6-acre site, as a uniquely bespoke dealership and quickly established itself as a leading caravan and motorhome retailer in the East Of England.
The company now employs over 30 people and is a highly influential and respected force within the caravanning sector. The company boasts the largest independent body-shop in East Anglia and has one of the most visited retailer websites in the area. This popular site offers visitors details on all current motorhome and caravanning stock, as well as a comprehensive online accessory shop and a club area where customers can book and get information about the company’s annual rally weekend hosted by our staff.
Greentrees Caravanstore now sells in excess of 700 ‘units’ a year and annually services over 400 vehicles, making it by far the largest leisure industry dealership in the East of England.
